Tom Arcuragi – Founder and Chief Operating Officer
In 1980, Tom Arcuragi was a founding partner in Crawford Communications, one of the most respected media production, post-production and satellite distribution facilities in the country.
In his second major business endeavor, Mr. Arcuragi founded Bottom Line, Inc. in 1984. The company created a full compliment of turnkey services from creative design and consulting through post-production and distribution. The company’s integrated communications client base included CNN, The Cartoon Network, The Coca-Cola Company, Reebok, BellSouth, MCI Wireless, Lockheed Martin, Continental Airlines, Merck, Hoffman LaRoche, Eli Lily, Dupont, Shaw Carpets, and The Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, and Avaya.
In 1992 Bottom Line opened The Atlanta Stage Works, a 65,000 sq. ft. production facility, providing Atlanta with its first full-blown service motion picture production facility. The facility was sold to the Tyler Perry Company ("Diary of a Mad Black Woman," "Madea's Family Reunion") in 2006, and has become the cornerstone of African American film and television production.
With Crawford and Bottom Line continuing to thrive, late in 1997, Mr. Arcuragi expanded his business ventures in the new media arena becoming President and CEO of Lynxus, Inc. The company provided a National filtered Internet service as its core product, operating a network with 3,000 touch-points in the continental United States.
Moving the headquarters of Bottom Line, Inc. to Los Angeles in 2002, Mr. Arcuragi returned his focus to television production along with the creation of interactive media extensions for television programming. Mr. Arcuragi founded ROImobile in 2006 with co-principal Thom Beers to capitalize on the bourgeoning convergence of media, advertising, and IP platforms.
Thom Beers – Founder and Principal
Thom Beers founded Original Productions in 1999, after years as an executive and producer for Turner Broadcasting and Paramount syndicated television. The award-winning company includes such hit shows as "Monster Garage," "Deadliest Catch," "Monster House," and "Biker Build-Off." New shows include: “Fugitive Strike Force” about three different fugitive hunting units in Las Vegas for Discovery Channel; "Backyard Nation," a reality series about elaborate backyards for TLC and "Lobster Men" for Discovery Channel about lobster fisherman in New England. With over 25 shows on the air or in production ,in both the U.S. and dozens of international markets, Original Productions boasts over 10 million unique viewers domestically, and an even larger number abroad. Beers’ productions have won a number of Emmy, ACE, New York Film Festival, and National Education Awards. Mr. Beers serves as a principal and key strategic partner to ROImobile. He is also a member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Siddharth Kara – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kara has ten years of investment banking, corporate finance, and corporate strategy experience within the telecom and internet industries. His career began in the Global Communications investment banking group at Merrill Lynch (NY), where he participated in several large M&A and capital market transactions in the Telco and Internet spaces.
Following his stint at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Kara relocated to Los Angeles where he founded Saffron Partners, a media consulting firm focused on M&A advisory, business capitalization and restructuring for small to medium sized media companies. A second division of Saffron focused specifically on mission-driven media production.
After Saffron Partners, Mr. Kara spent two years at EarthLink as a member of a four-person internal “Think Tank” tasked with corporate turnaround, optimizing operational efficiencies, developing strategic alliances and new products, and conducting due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. The group also invested in several start-up ISP's, for which Mr. Kara performed financial modeling and contract and valuation negotiation. Mr. Kara holds an MBA from Columbia University and graduated summa cum laude with a BA from Duke University. He was hired as CEO of ROImobile at the Company's founding.
Tim Beers – Chief Financial Officer
Tim Beers has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Original Productions since March, 2003. Mr. Beers has also served as the CFO of ROImobile since the Company's inception. As CFO, Mr. Beers is responsible for all accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, tax, internal audit, strategic planning and analysis functions for ROImobile. Mr. Beers is also President of O’Merch, the product placement, licensing and merchandising affiliate of Original Productions. Prior to joining Original Productions, Mr. Beers worked in the banking industry, including JP Morgan Chase in New York where he worked in the corporate banking department for five years, and Key Bank in Buffalo.
Mosfeq Rashid – Vice President of Technology
Mr. Rashid's technology research career started at MCC (Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corp.), which was the first and premier inter-company research organization in the United States. Mr. Rashid ventured into the commercial sector by creating a system to upgrade, maintain and test 24x7 enterprise class applications during operation at Enetica Solutions Inc. He is also the creator of the ROImibile content delivery software package, as well as the 20-category matching engine that extracts keywords from messages, advertisements, or other textual content with a 5-level weighting mechanism within each category. Mr. Rashid was hired as VP of Technology at the inception of ROImobile.
The Company's Sales and Marketing Group includes marketers and sales executives with decades of experience working with global corporations and major sporting events. Key among them are Cassandra Henning producer of creative and marketing programs for companies including The Coca Cola Company, Reebok International, Continental Airlines, Westinghouse, Honeywell, BP, General Motors for over 25 years; former Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Planning for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games; Martin Knott former Executive VP, Czarnowski Exhibit Services, with 2 decades of experience in the creation of trade show programs for companies including The Coca-Cola Company, Glaxo-SmithKline, Boeing and Kohler. Brenda Goodell former CMO of Syratech, a luxury goods holding company, and former VP of Marketing and Global Brand Image for Reebok International Ltd.
